EFFORTS to extend the market for dairy know no bounds, with an American company The Bear and The Rat, creating a yoghurt-based ice cream for dogs.

The flavours are: Bacon Peanut Barker (bacon and peanut butter flavours), Banana Peanut Barker (banana and peanut butter flavours), and Pumpkin (made with real pumpkin). 

The company says the frozen treat contains 15 million live & active probiotic cultures per pint and says the probiotics help with doggie breath, tummy troubles and overall immunity. 

Gives new meaning to the term Barkers’ eggs…
