WestVic Dairy is calling on dairy farmers and service providers to nominate for the dairy organisation’s board of directors.
Two full member positions are currently available on the eight-seat board — one farmer position and one service provider position — providing individuals the opportunity to contribute to the direction of industry research, development and extension.
WestVic Dairy’s regional manager Lindsay Ferguson said he would like to see more people consider the role and apply for the positions.
“We would like to hear from those who are passionate about the dairy industry and are keen to use their skills and knowledge to help advance the industry in our region,” he said.
“Our board sets the strategic plan and direction of the work we do at WestVic Dairy — it is an important role and a unique opportunity to help deliver positive outcomes for the region's farmers.”
