TWO New Zealand companies Lewis Road Creamery and Whittakers have teamed up to deliver what must be every dairy lover’s dream: chocolate butter.
Robert Todd, a professional cattle hoof trimmer, designed the Croc-like slip-ons in a bid to tackle lameness in cattle caused by ulcers and bruising. They have flexible soles made from beech and oak and are colour-coded by size. Lameness can be a huge problem in modern dairy herds and the Moover shoes are a hit worldwide. Mr Todd and his business partner Mike Brimble have been approached by retailers in 42 countries, including New Zealand, since the footwear went on sale last year.
