* Aged 52, married, father of three, played 290 games with Old Xaverians Football Club in the VAFA from 1989-2005, including winning six A grade premierships

* Completed a Bachelor of Commerce, and a Bachelor of Laws, at the University of Melbourne

* Worked as a solicitor at Corrs Chambers Westgarth from 1994

* In-house legal counsel at Village Roadshow Limited from October 1997 to August 2000

* Joined the AFL in 2000 as legal counsel

* July 2004: Appointed AFL's general manager, legal and business affairs

* December 2011: Named general manager of national and international development, and general counsel.

* 2013: Named general manager, legal, integrity and compliance

* March 2017: Also took on responsibility for game development

* July 2021: Appointed executive general manager of football operations in addition to his other roles
