Up to $10,000 up for grabs for local initiatives

Funding available: Cherry Tree Wind Farm’s Community Fund grant applications are now open.

Applications for Cherry Tree Wind Farm’s Community Fund open on August 15.

Local initiatives in Seymour and surrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.

To qualify, groups must either be located within 15km of Cherry Tree Wind Farm or provide a direct benefit to the local community.

The fund is looking for not-for-profits, projects, programs or facilities that support education, training, community development, health, wellbeing or the environment.

Previous recipients include the Seymour Agricultural and Pastoral Society, Riding for the Disabled, Seymour FM and Tallarook Arts Society.

Potential applicants must specify the amount they are seeking, with a preference to be given to applications under $5000 to encourage a diversity of projects within the limited funding.

The proposals will be assessed based on the criteria of viability, community benefit and value for investment.

Established in 2020, the community fund program is now in its third year.

To download an application form, visit Cherry Tree’s website at atmosrenewables.com.au/asset/cherry-tree/ or email ctwf.enquiries@res-group.com for a form to be sent to you.

Applications close on September 15.
