Australian Irish dancing touring company Pace Live Entertainment is set to infuse the down under with the vibrant spirit of Ireland this festive season through their latest production, “A Celtic Christmas“, coming to Shepparton in early December.

Headlining the cast is Irish dancer Sean Michael McHugh, whose illustrious 15-year tenure with Lord of The Dance has culminated in him assuming the company’s dance director role.

Accompanied by an ensemble of world-class musicians and exceptional Irish dancers, including the 2022 Senior Ladies World Champion Ciara Loughran, the show promises Australian audiences an unparalleled experience.

Having garnered acclaim in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK in 2022, the production will grace stages across South Australia and Victoria throughout November and December.

Transporting audiences to the heart of an Irish Christmas, the show unfolds as a feel-good extravaganza brimming with laughter, Christmas cheer, and the unbridled joy of the festive season.

With a cast featuring over 15 of the world’s premier Irish dancers and musicians, drawn from acclaimed productions like Riverdance and Lord of the Dance, “A Celtic Christmas”, the production blends traditional tunes, heartfelt ballads, and cherished carols all in one.

The result is a night of storytelling and Irish charm.

Director and producer Brent Pace said the show has a spectacular line-up, showcasing unparalleled talents from across the globe.

“Beyond technical brilliance, what sets this show apart is the heart-warming spirit of the Christmas season infused in every note played and every step danced,” he said.

“It’s a production that embodies the essence of the holidays—a feel-good extravaganza filled with laughter, Christmas cheer, and the pure joy of the festive season.”

Producer Ceili Moore said the Christmas show is a “tapestry woven with the rich threads of Irish influence.”

The performance is set to take place on Sunday, December 10 at 6pm at Riverlinks Eastbank, 70 Welsford St, Shepparton.
