The Country Women’s Association of Victoria is spreading festive cheer all over the state.
While the massive CWA of Victoria’s annual Christmas Fare will be held on December 7 in Toorak, there will be pop up events across regional Victoria, including in Shepparton.
The Eastern Goulburn Valley CWA will be hosting the Christmas Fare Pop-up Shop on Friday, December 13, at Shepparton Uniting Church, on the corner of Fryers and Corio Sts, Shepparton.
Running from 10am until 2pm or until sold out, the pop-up will be cash only, with stalls stocked full of Christmas goodies to purchase, including the beloved Christmas cakes and puddings.
You can also preorder your cakes and puddings, with pricing sold by weight at $35 per kilo.
President of the Eastern Goulburn Valley CWA Helen Sands said the branches will be holding their own Christmas themed stalls at the pop-up, selling crafts, preserves, cooking and plants.
“This is a main yearly fundraiser for some branches,” she said.
“Members have been working towards providing a variety of goods.”
Preorders for Christmas cakes and puddings can be placed by calling 0427 389 721 or 0439 376 267.
