Greater Shepparton City Council invites community members and visitors to take part in free activities in Shepparton’s Maude St precinct during the holiday season.
Until Sunday, December 24, people can enjoy live music, family entertainment and free activities suitable for children of all ages and abilities.
A ‘Sand-ta’ will be sculpted out of sand in the central business district on Saturday, December 23.
With live music and roving Christmas elves, it will be the perfect way to kick start the Christmas celebrations with family and friends.
Council is working closely with local vendors to create opportunities for businesses to thrive and connect with the community while celebrating the holidays, Greater Shepparton City Council’s place manager Bonnie McIntosh said.
“A range of free activities will be available for the kids, including a Christmas treasure hunt, crafting decorations, games and roving elves, as well as live music and a ‘Late Night Shopping’ opportunity for the older ones in the family,” she said.
Live music will also be played in the precinct every Saturday from 10am to 2pm until Saturday, December 23.
