What is your link to the Goulburn Valley?
We don’t have any! My husband Peter and I are here for the weekend. We live in Swan Hill.
What is your favourite thing about the Goulburn Valley?
The canola fields near Dookie were beautiful, and we really enjoyed our visit at SAM and our lunch at SAM was lovely too.
What do you do with yourself?
I have worked as a bookkeeper for most of my life, but I have also worked in various administrative roles.
We have three beautiful grandchildren, so I am a busy grandmother these days. We have two granddaughters and a grandson.
How do you like spending your free time?
I enjoy reading when I get a chance; there’s nothing like diving into a good book. Peter and I love travelling, and take our caravan out whenever we can. I love cooking and gardening with our grandchildren.
What piece of advice would you give your younger self?
That’s a good question. There are so many things to say, but let’s keep it short and sweet. Your body is a temple, honour it. And always do good, even in the face of challenges.
