Where are you from? Mooroopna. Always have been from Mooroopna.
What do you do? I work at Riverlinks doing theatre and all the backstage stuff for different shows.
Any local initiatives or community groups you’re involved in? I do a lot of volunteering.
I volunteer at Mooroopna Fire Brigade. I started in juniors, then went straight into active firefighting, and I’ve been doing that since 2013.
I’ve done volunteering with STAG (Shepparton Theatre Arts Group) and Initial Stages as well.
Why do you volunteer? It’s just about helping and supporting the community.
Mooroopna is my home town, my family live there. I’m helping out my community, my town.
What do you like most about your community? Everyone supports one another.
We saw it during the floods, as soon as people could they were knocking on the doors of their neighbours trying to help out, that’s what community spirit is about.
