Bourchier St Primary School Prep students went back to the future when they celebrated 100 days of learning on Wednesday, July 26.

The 100th day of school is celebrated in schools across Australia and around the globe.

As the name suggests, this tradition occurs around the 100th day of the school year, serving as a momentous occasion to commemorate the progress students have made.

It serves as an opportunity to honour the unwavering dedication and hard work of both students and teachers alike.

The Prep students marked the occasion by donning centenarian attire, featuring an abundance of berets, moustaches, glasses and wigs.

News photographer Rechelle Zammit headed along to capture the celebration of education and the school community.
