The Harding family’s pooch, four-year-old Luna, is a rare mix of Dalmatian and Staffordshire terrier, which they’ve come to nickname the ‘Dalmaffy’ breed. They say she’s spoilt, with her own recliner on the couch. She loves people and hates cats, which is unfortunate for the household’s feline family member. But you wouldn’t know pampered little Luna was descended from wild wolves.

Monday marked International Dog Day, a day dedicated to honouring and appreciating the special bond between humans and dogs, celebrated on August 26 each year.
