The Greater Shepparton City Council has officially unveiled its Activities in the Park summer program, and this season promises a thrilling line-up of outdoor adventures to keep the community active and entertained.
From December 2024 to February 2025, the region will come alive with over 65 activities designed to suit all ages and abilities.
Whether you're a thrill-seeker, a social butterfly, or just looking for ways to enjoy Shepparton’s parks and pools, this program has something for everyone.
Highlights this year include underwater hockey, stand-up paddleboarding, futsal, messy play for the little ones, giant games, aqua aerobics, and so much more.
“This year’s summer program is all about bringing people together, being active and enjoying all that our region has to offer,” City of Greater Shepparton Mayor Shane Sali said.
“I encourage residents and visitors to the region to look over the program, invite their friends and attend some of the activities that are on offer.
“The activities are open for everyone, so come along and enjoy being active in the outdoors.”
With both free and low-cost options, the program ensures accessibility for all, making it a perfect opportunity to try something new or rediscover a favourite pastime.
The program celebrates the best of Greater Shepparton's outdoor spaces, from serene mornings with yoga in the park to laughter-filled afternoons of giant games and paddling adventures.
Don’t miss out—grab your friends, lace up your shoes (or grab your paddle), and make this a summer to remember.
