Through its destination brand, Shepparton & Goulburn Valley, Greater Shepparton City Council encourages locals and visitors to connect and enjoy the region in its latest initiative, ‘Home for the Holidays’.

From Saturday, September 16 to Sunday, September 30, locals, friends and relatives are invited to experience some of the homegrown activities available in Shepparton and the Goulburn Valley and enjoy special events at local venues.

Home for the Holidays is the perfect opportunity for businesses to promote themselves and connect with visitors and community members by showcasing their products and services.

City of Greater Shepparton Mayor Shane Sali said council looked forward to seeing people experience the best things Greater Shepparton offered.

“We invite local residents staying ‘Home for the Holidays’ to have family and friends over and share the wonderful experiences available in the region,” he said.

“You don’t have to travel far to find great food and drinks and enjoy family activities. These types of activations are a great opportunity to encourage people to consume locally, activate the economy and discover new things to do in their own community.”

More information regarding participating venues and what is happening will be coming soon via the Shepparton & Goulburn Valley social media channels and website.

For businesses that would like to participate, vist shepp.city/hfthform and submit an expression of interest by filling in the available form.
