On Friday, February 23, and Saturday, February 24, the Shepparton CBD buzzed with the vibrant atmosphere of the Summer City Market.

The city centre was alive with exclusive sales and promotions from local businesses, alongside musical performances, family-friendly fun and a diverse array of dining options from the local eateries, cafés, stalls and food trucks.

Operating from 10am to 6pm on Friday and 10am to 3pm on Saturday on Maude St, Shepparton, the market was a Greater Shepparton City Council event designed to drive traffic into the CBD and encourage connection between local businesses and the community.

Council place manager Bonnie McIntosh said it was an opportunity for traders to reduce summer stock and get ready for the winter season.

News photographer Rechelle Zammit headed along to capture the festivities.
