The Dookie congregations are inviting locals and visitors alike to join in a meaningful Ecumenical Palm Sunday Service on Sunday, April 13 at the CWA Gardens on Mary St.

The annual event commemorates Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem and has long been a cherished tradition within the Dookie community.

Past services have been hailed a great success, with many gathering to mark the beginning of Holy Week in a spirit of unity and reflection.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive by 4.30pm to ensure a prompt 5pm start.

As this is an outdoor event, guests are reminded to bring their own chairs, picnic blankets, coats, hats, food, drinks, torches, and most importantly, bug repellent.

In the event of inclement weather, the service will be relocated to the Uniting Church Hall on Curtain St.
