Cost-of-living pressures are no match for the GV Wardrobe’s ultimate shopping spree. A colossal collection of more than 2000 items featuring various styles and brands will be on sale. Sizes include women four to 26 and men XXS to XXXL. Plus, bring your own clothing items in, have them sorted on the spot, and be given a ‘thank you coupon’ to spend. Cash and card payments available.

When: Friday, December 8, from 10am to 3pm and Saturday, December 9, from 9am to noon.

Kick off the festive season at Merrigum’s Christmas Cheer in the Park. Featuring musical merriment, the Merrigum Splash Park, a free barbecue and drinks for sale, it’s sure to be a jolly good time. Rally to Protect Bush Activities

To defend the outdoor lifestyle, Trelly’s owner Steve Threlfall and a group of Shepparton citizens have organised a rally to protect bush activities by making a statement to the Victorian Government. Show your support, sign the petition and join the rally. Various activities will be available on the day, including a sausage sizzle, coffee van, fly-casting demo, children’s entertainment and competitions.

What do Santa, his Christmas elves, and the legendary Batman have in common? They’re all coming to KidsTown this weekend. ‘Tis the season to get into the Christmas spirit and have your family photos taken with Santa and Batman. Plus, the Christmas elves will have games and activities set up around the park.

Since 1984, the Mooroopna Carols in the Park has been a cherished tradition. Hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Mooroopna, attendees will be immersed in the spirit of the season with performances by local artists, school choirs and choirs. To sweeten the deal, the Kiwanis Santa will offer free lollies for the kids. Barbecue, drinks and LED candles available for purchase. BYO chair or picnic rug.

An enchanting evening by the river and a wave of Christmas cheer is coming to Murchison. Stroll through the market to browse for gifts and savour the food trucks against the stunning sunset view. For the little ones, free activities await, including a jumping castle, face painting, silent disco and even a visit from the jolly man in red himself.
