The Nathalia Boarding Kennels and Cattery has its own means of transportation to make sure all the pups can enjoy a Doggy Day Out.

On Mondays to Thursdays the doggy bus, driven by David Scadden, travels around the Goulburn Valley to pick up the excited dogs who will spend the day at the kennels. At the end of the day, they are driven back home to be reunited with their owners.

The News joined the pups for the boarding process on Thursday, February 23 to capture the excitement.

Some of the dogs have been going for years, whereas others are newcomers to the daycare world, but all love the bus.

“They’re loud now but they quieten down as soon as you start driving, and they’re always quiet on the drive home,” Mr Scadden said.

Dogs can be picked up from Echuca, Kyabram, Nathalia, Numurkah, Shepparton and Wunghnu.
