For shopaholics, Boxing Day is heaven on earth, with almost every shop in town having a sale.

The News went to the Shepparton CBD to talk to local bargain hunters.

Here’s what they had to say.

We went to Bonds and we got socks, jocks and jumpers. We also went to Identity but that was for Dad — we didn’t get anything.

I got myself a new blender from Harris Scarfe, I don’t remember what per cent off it was, but it was $40 off, so it was cheap. I’m now wanting a coffee, and then I may go to Big W.

We got earrings from Lovisa with gummy bears and smiley faces. We both got lunchboxes from Big W as well. We are going to go to Kmart to look at clothes and books and toys.

I went to Harris Scarfe and got some pyjamas and I also went to JB Hi-Fi earlier and got some stuff. There’s nowhere else I particularly want to go, I’m pretty happy with the deals I’ve gotten so far.
