The News is getting out and about each week to find out what’s happening on the street.

This week we wanted to know what you thought of the free parking in town over December and January as it comes to an end. Here’s some of what people had to say.

Trent Howard, Euroa: “I don’t really care anyway. We’ve got enough free parking.”

Mr Howard said he’d have to see data and figures to know if the free parking had helped local businesses.

Focus Cards and Gifts co-owner Peter Dunbabin: “We don’t want it to finish. Free parking is always a success. We can see it in our figures, particularly in December, which is our busiest period.”
