Shepp Speaks | What was your favourite thing about ‘Making Mushrooms’?

An enchanting workshop, “Making Shrooms,” took place on Wednesday, January 10 at Shepparton Art Museum (SAM).

The activity seamlessly blended education and creativity, offering a magical experience for both kids and parents. From exploring fascinating facts about the myriad mushroom varieties to crafting unique masterpieces using upcycled materials, participants were in for a fungi-filled adventure that sparked imaginations and brought smiles to all ages.

The News asked three budding artists what was the highlight of the workshop.

Remy Bradshaw, 9:

“I liked decorating a mushroom at the end.”

Arlow Bradshaw, 6:

“I did my mushroom with googly eyes”
