As the days grow longer and the spring sunshine ushers in a new season of growth, the much-anticipated Health and Wellbeing Event draws nearer.

Among the exhibitors are naturopath Phillip Chua and Amorettam owner Chana Orloff, each bringing a unique perspective on nurturing our health and loving ourselves a little more.

“As a naturopath, I work with a range of clients. I see myself as a food-first practitioner. So, although I prescribe products, I do a lot of food education,” Mr Chua said.

“How what we eat impacts who we are and how what we eat determines the amount of life in our years but also determines the amount of living we can do within those years.”

Mr Chua also emphasised the importance of digestive health, describing it as the pinnacle from where wellness trickled down to other facets of our being, enriching our energy, skin, and overall feeling of wellbeing.

On the other hand, Mrs Orloff, through her brand Amorettam, promotes a mindful approach to skincare by crafting natural beauty products that are kind to the skin and the environment.

“We commit to producing natural beauty products that are great for the skin and better for the environment,” she said.

“As a result of my mother and son’s death, the stress really impacted my physical appearance. It was important for me to integrate some self-healing principles into my daily routine.

“I’m really excited to be a part of this event.”

With a strong emphasis on sustainability, Mrs Orloff’s products embody self-love that extends beyond the individual to Mother Earth.

The Health and Wellbeing Event presents a golden opportunity for the community to explore alternative pathways to health and self-love in the gentle warmth of spring.

Mr Chua’s expertise in naturopathy and Mrs Orloff’s environmentally conscious beauty products exemplify the diverse avenues through which we can spring into immunity and self-love.

The Health and Wellbeing Event is on Sunday, October 29, from 9am to 4pm.

It is scheduled concurrently with the Ladies Who Lunch Event at Riverlinks Eastbank.
