Come and try badminton

Greater Shepparton’s Activities in the Park program is giving community members a chance to try badminton. From 6pm to 7.30pm, all are welcome to join the Shepparton Feathers Badminton Club for a hit. Whether you’re a beginner or not, the fun of the sport is sure to cause a racket. No registrations required.

All in all, it’s time for another brick in the wall at Shepparton Art Museum. SAM’s Art Wall has seen many a lick of paint, but now it’s time for Emma Coulter to step up and put her own spin of the paintbrush on it. Coulter has created a unique composition for the 30th Art Wall series titled spatial deconstruction #30 (social fabric). Be the first to check it out!

Coming up fast on the inside of Shepparton Showgrounds Multipurpose Pavilion is the Goulburn Valley’s Horse Gear Market. With both new and pre-loved equine goods, the market is sure to give attendees a run for their money. Organisers called it a great way of cleaning out the tack room or restocking for the coming season. Stalls (3m x 3m) are available for $50.

It all comes down to this. The Shepparton Gators are facing the RMIT Redbacks once again, only this time, they’re vying for the holy grail — the Big V division one title. After a narrow two-point win in the semi-final, stakes are high and the atmosphere will be higher. Get down to the Shepparton Sports Stadium to secure a ticket on the door. Go Gators!

All funds raised will go towards Shepparton local Bella Ainsworth, providing a small bit of relief as the new mum continues to battle a rare and aggressive cancer. This one’s for the ladies! Aquamoves is once again partnering with VicHealth in its ‘This Girl Can — Victoria’ campaign to host another women-only swimming session. From 5.30pm to 8.30pm, women can feel empowered to get active and overcome feelings of judgment with a swim in the indoor 25m, leisure or hydrotherapy pools, or relax in the sauna and spas.

Blazing: It’s a show as hot as eating fire — Luke Blaze’s regional tour ‘Reborn’ is coming soon to Mooroopna.

Australia’s youngest underwater escape artist is embarking on a regional tour that begins in Mooroopna. On September 2, you could be the first to witness the magic of Luke Blaze as he transports, levitates, eats fire and more! Audience members will be holding their breath as they witness Luke perform his death-defying stunts during the 90-minute show.
