Parents, guardians and carers, securing a place for your little ones in kindergarten for 2025 is child’s play.

Registrations for three- and four-year-olds are now open and can be done online through the Greater Shepparton City Council website.

The deadline for submission is Friday, August 9.

Greater Shepparton boasts a diverse array of about 30 kindergarten programs scattered across the region, catering to the unique needs and preferences of families.

A full list of providers is available online.

For a smooth process, registration for three-year-old kindergarten follows the same steps as for four-year-old kindergarten.

Registrations must be completed through the council’s portal, not directly with the chosen provider.

Families will be allocated a place at a service provider, following the ‘Access of Criteria’ guideline.

A key benefit for families is the affordability of these programs.

Kindergarten is free or low-cost for eligible families, ensuring early childhood education is accessible to all.

However, fees may still apply to children attending programs within long daycare centres.

Families are encouraged to contact their early childhood service for more detailed information.

With online registrations now open, families are only a few clicks away from taking the first steps towards their children’s educational futures.
