Get ready to dust off those disco balls and don your finest flares as drag queens bring disco fever to Shepparton this Friday, all in support of a great cause.

Shepparton is set to play centre stage for all things glitter, music and dance as Dragged To’s Disco Inferno regional tour rolls into town.

This fabulous event not only celebrates the joy of drag, but will also raise much needed funds for Thorne Harbour Health, a vital support service for LGBTIQ+ communities.

The GV Hotel will be transformed into a retro wonderland of beats, trivia, and electric performances on Friday, September 13.

Disco hosts Amanduh and Lady Lou Bricant are set to dazzle as hosts, kicking off the night with their signature charm and spreading disco fever.

Audiences are invited to hit the dance floor and compete in a soul train dance-off, showing off their best moves under the glimmer of disco lights.

Dragged To managing director Brendon De Kauwe said the disco tour will bring the magic of drag to regional areas, while raising funds to support LGBTIQ+ communities in accessing the services they need.

“We're thrilled to build on the momentum from our recent Christmas In July Tour by raising much-needed funds for the incredible team at Thorne Harbour Health,” He said.

“Their work providing crucial health care like peer support, counselling, and sexual health services is essential, particularly in regional areas.”

Thorne Harbour chief executive officer Simon Ruth welcomed the partnership with Dragged To and their generous fundraising efforts.

“We’re grateful for the generous support and fundraising from Dragged To and their community,” he said.

“We look forward to collaborating with them to foster a strong community spirit and ensure that LGBTIQ+ individuals have access to the vital services they need.”

Drag queen and host Amanduh is excited to head out to the regions to spread the drag cheer.

“Drag is about more than just entertainment; it’s about celebrating diversity and bringing joy to communities,” Amanduh said.

“We’re excited to share the fun and flair of drag with regional areas that may not always have access to events like this.

“Plus, it’s an incredible opportunity to raise awareness and funds to support LGBTIQ+ people in accessing the healthcare they need.”

The GV Hotel will be serving up an array of snacks available for purchase, to keep the energy up to dance the night away.

Tickets will not be available at the door, so secure your spot now for a night of disco magic.

Tickets can be booked online at trybooking.com/events/landing/1272216

Doors open at 6pm with disco balls dropping at 7.30pm.

The Disco Inferno tour will feature 10 queens performing across 15 locations across Victoria throughout September.
