Booking a table at the Tatura Hotel was a delightful experience, embodying old-fashioned hospitality.
The friendly staff made the booking process enjoyable, easily accommodating our increased numbers.
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Tom Georgopoulos and his partner, Caroline, who have been managing the hotel for the past nine months.
Both locals with extensive hospitality experience exuded warmth and professionalism, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
Tom and Caroline’s rich background includes working in prestigious English establishments, and their expertise was evident in their exceptional service.
The Tatura Hotel, with its inviting décor, vibrant atmosphere and attentive staff, is a popular destination for both locals and visitors.
The hotel offers café and bistro dining areas, two bars (including a live sports bar), an outdoor beer garden, a kids’ play area, private dining spaces for special events and eight clean pub-style rooms for rent.
Our meal, featuring a seafood platter and chicken scallopini, was fantastic, complemented by a well-curated wine selection showcasing local wines. Other dishes enjoyed by our friends included Jamaican king prawns, T-bone steaks and a fabulous-looking parmigiana.
The Tatura Hotel, also known historically as the Criterion and the Tatura Middle Pub, remains a beloved social hub. It is well-resourced, with seating for over 80 people, and continues to be a local favourite where people gather for good food, drinks and socialising. If you’re looking for a place to dine and unwind, the Tatura Hotel is the place to be.
