For those people on their ‘big lap’ of Australia, or for music lovers in general, Kyabram should be marked down on your schedule for early November.

Kyabram’s Country Music Festival is held from Wednesday, November 2 right through until Sunday, November 6 (the weekend after Melbourne Cup Day).

As many other events around the country were, the festival was cancelled in the past two years, so this year’s is expected to be especially spectacular.

Kyabram’s Country Music Festival has become a popular destination for RV and caravan enthusiasts, as well as country music fans.

The community is an RV-friendly town located between Shepparton and Echuca in north-central Victoria’s Goulburn Valley, about 200km north of Melbourne.

Held at the Kyabram Showgrounds, the five-day event includes the town’s hugely popular annual bush market in the main street on Friday, November 4.

There’s also an open mic on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of the festival between 2pm and 6pm.

Gates open from 8am on Monday, October 31 for those wanting to set up, and close at 6pm on Tuesday, November 8. There is a dump point on-site for RV users.

Although known as Kyabram RV Country Music Festival, all people are welcome to attend.

The festival has a huge line-up booked, which is sure to entertain.
