THE BASKETBALL VICTORIA COUNTRY JUNIOR JAMBOREE WILL TAKE PLACE THIS SEPTEMBER SCHOOL HOLIDAYS IN ECHUCA.

The event is a four-day camp for 240 under-12 players, to be held at Echuca Basketball Stadium from September 16 to 19.

The event will hold multiple activities for the selected athletes to train their skills.

One hundred and twenty boys and 120 girls are selected to compete after their participation in the under-12’s country skills days events, with the top athletes being awarded a spot at the jamboree.

The annual skills days take place in multiple parts of Victoria and are used to select the top players by the region coaches to attend this respected event.

The selected athletes can attend the camp to develop their skill set in a high-performance environment as well as connect with other young athletes from all over Victoria.

The 240 athletes will be divided into 24 separate teams to encourage their development and work with new teammates and new coaches.

The annual event takes place every year during the September school holidays, with 2023 being its second year back after returning in 2022.
