Looking for the perfect venue for your next party, club meeting or special event?
Look no further! “The Garage” known as “The G” in Tatura offers a unique, relaxed atmosphere complete with a pool table, multiple TVs, a projector, cosy seating and a warm fireplace around an array of timeless memorabilia.
Owned by Jody Vincitorio, who also runs the adjacent Ross St Café/Diner, The G is a man cave-style space filled with eclectic treasures collected over the years.
It’s already making waves in the community, hosting car and bike meetings, as well as milestone celebrations.
“I have already had some people rent it out for events and a couple of club meetings, and an 18th, 21st, 40th,” Jody said.
“It fits around 50 people and is available for hire seven-days-a-week during the day or evening.”
For just $400, you can rent the space for up to six hours, with wood provided in the winter months for the fireplace.
And, it’s a BYO event space and the perfect spot to get some pizzas delivered if you’re hosting an evening function.
“The G is dark and cosy compared to our bright, lively diner space, but a very cool place for a party or an event for sure,” Jody said.
“And you can bring your own alcohol, it’s just like having a party in a mate’s shed.
“The diner is still open from 6am to 2pm, so we can help with food during those hours, but if someone wants to hire The G for an evening event, they can always get takeaway from other businesses in Tatura, which is supporting local too,” he said.
“Or they can pack their own nibbles and bring them along with their drinks.”
Whether it’s a casual get-together or a milestone celebration, The G is the cool spot you’ve been searching for.
In addition to this exciting new space opening and bookings now being accepted, Jody had some other exciting news to share.
“The diner was a finalist in the Greater Shepparton Business Network awards recently,” Jody said.
“It was under the category of Visitor Experience of the Year, which is incredible to know that people are enjoying what we have created.
“There isn’t much room to hang anything else now; even the roof is almost full, but it’s definitely been a great year for us, and word of mouth is bringing people in from all over the state.
“It wasn’t our year for the awards, but we are so thankful to the people who supported and nominated us.”
