The Foundry Arts Space aims to support the development of the arts and artists in the region.

Located in the Echuca Port area, the Foundry Arts Space is backed by Echuca Moama Arts Initiative (EMAI).

“Our wonderful group of volunteers keep the doors open to allow up to 12 exhibitions a year that feature new, emerging and established artists,” EMAI chair Tim Smallwood said.

“Highlight exhibitions include NAIDOC, youth and a member exhibition, as well as, community groups and travelling programs.”

Tim said Echuca-Moama had a thriving arts scene, and the volunteer-run Foundry Arts Space was open six days a week and attracted exhibitions from outside the region, bringing a variety of arts and culture to the town.

During spring, the Foundry is presenting a series of group exhibitions:

Painted on Smile: A multimedia exhibition by 13 Echuca-Moama artists responding to the need to continue smiling over the past few years. August 19 to September 11.

Through our Lens: An exhibition of work by members of the Echuca Moama Photography Club. September 16 to October 9.

EMAI is already planning its 2023 program, inviting artists from all over Victoria to bring their work to Echuca-Moama, with some artists already throwing their hats in the ring.

"We’ve got a lot of exciting exhibitions coming up in spring and beyond,” Tim.
