The Food and Fibre Careers Day was back for its ninth year — bigger and better than the last.

The largest careers day of its kind in Victoria, the Food and Fibre Careers Day welcomed 400 students from regional Victoria at the University of Melbourne Dookie Campus on Friday, May 31.

The students were able to learn from industry experts about possible career paths in agriculture, horticulture, agtech and agribusiness.

Demonstrations included a wide range of career path such as viticulture, hydroponic farming, farrier work, tractor coding, beekeeping and more.

The News’ Nicola Ceccato went down to capture some pictures from the day.
