Before Shepparton Monopoly hit shelves, the name of the game himself made a special appearance in town.

On Tuesday, March 18, Mr Monopoly advanced to Shepparton Library.

While we don’t know if he passed Go or collected $200, we do know that he had an hour of fun and games with the Community Kids Shepparton Early Education Centre children, including stories, colouring and selfies.

News photographer Rechelle Zammit also took the chance to capture photos of the visit.

This event served as a playful prelude to the official launch of the brand-new Shepparton Monopoly board game, which was unveiled on Wednesday, March 19, at Victoria Park Lake in Shepparton.
