School’s out and there’s lots to do without having to travel too far.

Children from around the region were given the chance to become world-class explorers this week, with a nature scavenger hunt being hosted at Queen’s Gardens.

For two hours, the junior adventurers looked for leaves, statues and our environment’s treasure.

News photographer Rechelle Zammit went along to see how the nature expedition went.
