It’s officially 2024 and the excitement of New Year’s Eve has just started to calm down, but before the dust settles too much, let’s look back on one of Sunday’s celebrations.
Mooroopna Rotary Club organised the Mooroopna celebration for December 31 and according to its president, Barb Joyce, it went off without a hitch.
“The whole crowd seemed to enjoy it,” she said.
“I’d say there was about 4000 to 5000 in attendance, and they all went away really happy with the night.”
The entertainment on the night included Kamali Lamba, The Wong Brothers, Monga Mukasa and SMAC.
Attractions also included rides and stalls and a fireworks display to end the night.
