The sun’s rays have softened, as though they’ve come of age. We’ve been gifted warm, dry autumn days where the air sits gently — never too hot, never too cold.

Mornings have a gentle chill, and across Shepparton, trees are staging a quiet spectacle, their leaves turning red, gold and copper before gracefully drifting to the ground.

There’s a sweetness to autumn that’s hard to pin down — but impossible to miss.

News reporter Khadija Hadjab wandered through town and captured a few glimpses of the season’s quiet beauty.

How is autumn shaping up in your backyard or street? We’d love to see your slice of the season — email a photo to editor@mmg.com.au.
