Greater Shepparton City Council’s Resilience in Recovery event was full of food, fun and families.

For all in attendance, free slushies and snow cones were available, as well as a sausage sizzle by the Kiwanis Club of Mooroopna.

There was entertainment by Jessica Lorraine and pool games galore.

Mooroopna won’t be the only town beating the heat this summer, with two additional Summer Splash pool parties in Murchison and Tatura in January.

News photographer Rechelle Zammit went along on Wednesday, December 20, to soak up the fun.

Here’s what she captured.
