The fabulous and colourful Frock Hudson captured children’s attention at Shepparton Library’s rainbow storytime on November 10.

Frock read children’s book My Shadow is Pink by author Scott Stuart, who was inspired by his son’s experience being told the ‘girly’ things he liked were ‘not for boys’.

The story touches on the themes of gender identity, self-acceptance, equality and diversity.

The event was part of Greater Shepparton’s OUTintheOPEN Festival, celebrating LGBTIQA+ pride and community diversity.

News photographer Megan Fisher was there to capture the fun.
