Round four of the National Wheelchair Basketball League brought the Red Dust Heelers to the Shepparton stadium.

Ahead of their busy three-game weekend, the team held a free clinic for people with and without disabilties who were interested in the sport on Friday, July 12.

The clinic allowed basketball fans to meet the players, watch them demonstrate skills, and even participate in some drills.

Smiles and looks of determination were abundant as the Red Dust Heelers and the Gangarrus hit the court.

The News photographer Rechelle Zammit went along to photograph the event.

Here’s what she captured.
