Year 6 student voice leaders at Bourchier St Primary School received their badges and certificates during a special assembly on February 14.
House leaders were also recognised at the event.
The school invited state Member for Northern Victoria Kim O’Keeffe to be a part of the presentation.
The student voice team is responsible for representing their peers, facilitating whole-school events and contributing to improvements within the school.
Students were selected based on responses to set criteria about leadership, teamwork and problem-solving, along with teacher input, behaviour assessments and feedback from past teachers.
News photographer Rechelle Zammit captured the event.
