Book Week is an annual celebration of reading that transcends age.

This year, from August 17 to August 23, students dressed as their favourite characters, connecting with their heroes and unleashing their imagination in extraordinary ways. News photographer Megan Fisher was on hand at Gowrie St Primary School’s parade to capture the essence of the children’s literary heroes.
