Wallys were spotted with their stripes in plain sight, golden fairy dust was sprinkled abundantly and an army of diligent Minions assembled behind their boss, Gru, at St Anne’s College in Kialla on Thursday morning.
What could all that mean?
Another Book Week was celebrated, of course.
Students (and staff) from Prep to Year 6 strutted their imaginative attire during a parade for their peers and family members to the beat of high-energy music from a carefully curated playlist.
The theme across the country for this year’s Book Week is ‘Reading is Magic’, and judging by the enchanted smiles on kids’ dials during their celebrations, St Anne’s nailed it.
