The powerhouse Goulburn Valley League outfit showcased its best football on Saturday in the dominant 55-point triumph over the Cats.

A powerful second-half performance was what caught the eye of onlookers and Bombers coach Paul Newman.

The multiple premiership-winning coach said the second half was “fantastic” and that after the main break his side’s intensity around the ball “went up”.

The hosts’ dominance around the contests saw them have plus 28 disposals, to go with 13 more marks.

The on-ballers were able to deliver the ball 33 times inside 50 for the second half, while the Cats managed 15 entries.

The deliveries cleaned up and the forwards were able to convert, which resulted in the scores from inside-50 entries at 53 per cent, a game-high for the Bombers.
