Echuca’s Logan Prout may not be a doctor, but he was showing surgical precision on the football field against Euroa with a plethora of accurate disposals.

The Murray Bombers defender was near perfect by foot against the Magpies, notching an impressive 93 per cent kicking efficiency at Euroa Memorial Oval.

Of his 14 kicks on Saturday afternoon 13 of them hit the target, according to the stats from GVL Data.

Prout had 18 touches in total against the Pies, and with all four of his handballs finding the target, he had an overall efficiency of 94 per cent on the day, with just one ineffective disposal.

To make his feat with his feet even more impressive, Prout’s near impeccable performance came during the pressure cooker of a top-of-the-table clash, showing he can still be lethal when the heat is on.

Saturday was the fourth time this year that Prout has boasted a kicking efficiency of 90 per cent or higher, with the right footer also carving it up against Seymour, Shepparton and Tatura in rounds five, six and seven.

Across the 2022 season, Prout has an overall kicking efficiency of 82 per cent — the highest at Echuca and tied for the third-best percentage among players who have appeared in more than 50 per cent of games this year.

Prout’s total of 124 effective kicks this season is the most for Echuca and is in the top 10 in the league.

Seymour’s Thomas Martin leads the GVL in kicking efficiency at 87 per cent, while his teammate Jack Murphy has the most total effective kicks with 198.
