Rochester has bowed out of the finals reckoning, but its swag of talent will give supporters hope heading into 2023.

Former Kangaroo Shaun Atley was undoubtedly one of the club’s prime movers this season, collecting on average 30.8 disposals, 13.3 contested possessions, and a touch over seven clearances.

Atley has been one of the Tigers’ proven performers, but of the younger brigade the rise of Mitch Cricelli has been a big boost for the Rochester forward line.

Cricelli was second only to outgoing coach Steve Stroobants in the goal-kicking, firing away 44 goals and reeling in 2.8 contested marks a game in his first season at Moon Oval.

Chris Jansen crafted a remarkable GVL purple patch in 2022, averaging 29.9 disposals. His 48-disposal, five-goal game against Tatura was a highlight.

Down back, seasoned defender Hamish Hooppell flew the flag for the backline brigade, leading several defensive statistics.
