Hino Australia has opened a dealership in Sale, in Victoria’s Gippsland region.
“We warmly welcome Gippsland automotive stalwart David Turnbull and his family-led team to Hino,” Hino Australia’s Richard Emery said.
“In addition to running a successful Toyota dealership for over 30 years in Yarram and Sale, David hails from a family with a rich automotive heritage spanning four generations over 70 years in the Gippsland region.
“Gippsland is a region best known for its primary production such as mining, power generation and farming, which are industries that our Hino range of light, medium and heavy-duty trucks are particularly suited to.”
Dealer principal David Turnbull said he was keen to join the network.
“Having owned and operated Hino trucks and buses for over 60 years as part of our Turnbull Hire business and rural school bus operations, we identified an exciting opportunity to further expand the Turnbull Group to open Turnbull Hino, a full-service truck dealership in Sale,” he said.
“We have always been impressed with the quality, durability and reliability of Hino products, and are very excited to now offer these products to the broader Gippsland community.
“The Turnbull Group is focused on supporting our local community — our goal is to provide better support to our local transport industries and trades that would have previously travelled hours to Melbourne for sales, servicing and repairs.”
Located on the busy Princes Hwy in Sale, the purpose-built, brand-new facility is in a prominent and easily accessible location.
It features an impressive indoor showroom with a comfortable guest lounge, large parts storage facility, seven service bays and a wash bay.
For added convenience for customers, the dealership offers undercover driveway drop-off for servicing.
An official opening was held recently and attended by key officials including Mr Emery, in addition to loyal Turnbull Group customers who were also able to experience the Hino National Roadshow.
“We showcased vehicles from across the 300, 500 and 700 Series range, while also celebrating 80 years of Hino globally,” Mr Turnbull said.
“The entire model line-up has received significant enhancements over the past five years, and it is a terrific opportunity for our new customers to see a selection of award-winning light, medium and heavy-duty trucks.”
