Four people have died in a fiery car crash on a major highway involving a taxi and a SUV.
A grey Toyota RAV4 and a silver Camry taxi collided about 3.40am on Monday in Perth on Leach Highway, police say.
The victims were a 58-year-old male taxi driver and two female passengers aged 56 and 81.
The unidentified driver of the RAV4 also died at the scene.
The crash happened near the intersection of Abernethy Road.
Less than an hour later, a cyclist was also killed in Perth.
About 4.30am, a truck and the 59-year-old cyclist collided at an intersection in Bibra Lake in the city's south.
The cyclist died at the scene and the truck driver was uninjured.
The major crash unit is investigating both incidents.
