John Wilkinson recently visited Coleambally with his dog ‘Billy’ to launch the John Wilkinson Scholarship for the eighth year.
This year, the scholarship is worth $12,000 for students in the Coleambally/Darlington Point area who would like to further their education.
John - who is 103 and aims to reach 105 - currently lives on his own in Leeton, but has his daughter close by.
Both still have a close affiliation with Coly.
For further information students can apply at The Secretary of Coleambally Lions at tintagel1@bigpond.com.
