Almost 200g of cocaine seized from Shepparton house

Police seized almost 200 grams of cocaine from a Shepparton house on Tuesday, December 13.

Shepparton Crime Investigation Unit’s Detective Senior Sergeant Paul Shortis said 197g of the drug was seized during a search of the house Tuesday night.

The cocaine has an estimated street value of about $50,000, Det Sen Sgt Shortis said.

A 23-year-old Shepparton man has been charged with trafficking cocaine.

He has been remanded in custody to face Shepparton Magistrates’ Court next year.
