Another handy donation for school

Deni High School's Year 12 graduates at The Timbercutter.

Mathoura Public School’s connection with the Mathoura Tongala Community Bank continues to be a great one for our local school.

During the bank’s AGM last week, the school was presented with it’s latest grant of $4925.80.

The grant will fund the purchase of new tables for the school’s K/1 classroom.

I’m sure the youngsters can’t wait for the arrival of the new equipment.

The closure will take place in January.

Opening times will be Monday to Thursday 10am to 4pm.

If you feel like a coffee and a snack in a great location, why not pay a visit to the Swing Saw Café.

The venue is located at the Gulpa Retreat Tourist Park and operates on Monday to Wednesday 6am-8pm, Thursday to Saturday 6am- 9.30pm and Sundays from 7am until 6pm.

Operator Troy would love to meet you and to hear your thoughts on the menu.

There is nothing like the end of the school year, especially when you have been in Year 12.

So it was great for local students to wind up their year with a night out at Mathoura’s Timbercutter Restaurant at Picnic Point recently.

Accompanied by their parents and other family members and friends, they had a great night.
