Anzac Day across the region

Nagambie

Short dawn service at 5.45am at the Nagambie Cenotaph followed by a 10am service in the Mechanics Hall led by the RSL.

At its conclusion there will be a march to the cenotaph area in High St opposite the post office.

The main Anzac Day service will begin at 11am at the cenotaph and includes wreath-laying by the RSL and local groups.

Pyalong

A commemorative service will be held at 11am at the Pyalong Memorial Garden on High St.

A march will take place before the service, with marchers requested to assemble at 10.45am at Pyalong General Store to select the name badge of a Pyalong or Tooborac serviceman or woman from a past conflict. The march will then proceed to Pyalong Memorial Garden.

Seymour

A dawn service will be held at 6am at the gates of Seymour Health, also known as Seymour District Memorial Hospital.

Prior to that a march from the Seymour RSL Sub-branch hall (Station St) will commence at 5.45am and will make its way to the gate for the dawn service.

A gunfire breakfast will be held at the sub-branch at the conclusion of the dawn service.

A march will also depart from the carpark behind Seymour Total Sports at 9.45am concluding at the Seymour War Memorial on Anzac Ave for a morning service at 10am. Community members are welcome to come to the RSL Hall for refreshments after the service.
